Gillman Barracks

Located within a former army barracks built in 1936, the Creamier Gillman Barracks space offers a sense of discovery and serves as a resting place where one may enjoy the delight of catching up with good company or a moment of solitude; all while enjoying our homemade ice creams, waffles and coffee. We love the secret stairway that links up to the Southern Ridges walking trail.

Tiong Bahru

Tiong Bahru is a neighbourhood with its own heritage and interesting architecture. Our café is nestled in a unique pre-war horseshoe housing block built in 1939 along Yong Siak street. In this charming little space, we hope to share the Creamier Handcrafted experience through community and craft through a slow coffee movement and a retail experience offering a curated selection of handcrafted goods.

We’ve always loved the charm of the Katong-Joo Chiat area – its traditional shophouses alongside Peranakan terrace houses, rich cultural mix that contributes to its unique cuisine, particularly, the famous Katong Laksa. We’ve preserved the traditional tiling in our café as a tribute to the district’s history, and look forward to joining the rungs of the good food ladder by remaining true to our philosophy – small batch production daily with our own recipes and without any preservatives.
