Warm, aromatic, and bitter, meets cold, creamy, and sweet. Coffee and ice cream are opposites in every way, but are somehow natural companions. When paired well, the flavours don't compete - but they elevate each other.
Great pairings are built on contrast. Think hot + cold, bitter + sweet, thin + creamy. Coffee's natural bitterness cuts through the richness of ice cream, while ice cream softens coffee's intensity. These combinations create an overall balance, while facilitating a different experience at every sip and spoonful.
The best way to create a complementary pair is to match their intensity. A simple rule of thumb: match the strength of your coffee to the richness of your ice cream.
Nutty & creamy flavours → Milk-based coffee (White) Deep & bitter chocolate flavours → Light black coffee (Black) Light & delicate flavours → Bold black coffee (Espresso & Long Black)
Classic Pairings That Always Work:

Affogato (Espresso + Blue Pea Vanilla Ice Cream)
When talking about coffee and ice cream, affogatos are what we think of first. This works as vanilla is neutral and creamy, while espresso is bold and aromatic. This creates a smooth and velvety treat.
The classic affogato is served with vanilla ice cream, but we serve ours with our signature Blue Pea Vanilla and a shot of espresso. However, we are open to experimenting! We welcome you to come by and put your own twist on the classic affogato.

Black Coffee + Chocolate Ice Cream
A black coffee's lighter body allows our Plain Ole Chocolate's roasted depth to shine, while balancing the chocolate's richness. This is a pair that's not too heavy, yet indulgent.

White Coffee + Pistachio Ice Cream
Milk coffee has a softer and rounder profile, making it a natural match for nutty flavours like our Roasted Pistachio and Hazelnut Milk Chocolate (in rotation). These flavours complement each other without overpowering each other.

Kopi Peng Ice Cream
If you don't feel like having a drink, we have a solution for you - coffee ice cream! Luckily for you, we are bringing back Kopi Peng. Inspired by a go-to drink for many Singaporeans, we are bringing smooth, bold, aromatic coffee in ice cream form.

Great coffee isn't just meant to be enjoyed in the morning, but at any time. That's why at Creamier, we are open until 10 pm.
Please note that we serve different coffee selections at different stores: Toa Payoh and Punggol Northshore have espresso-based drinks, while Tiong Bahru has pour-overs only. Margaret Drive does not serve coffee.
