Creamier x Operation Hope Foundation: Clean Water Contribution
Join us in our efforts to improve access to clean drinking water to rural children in Cambodia
We have partnered with Operation Hope Foundation (OHF), a registered charity in Singapore that is tackling the water crisis in rural Cambodia. In these rural communities, the lack of a suitable source of water leads to frequent diarrhoea and dehydration, making diarrhoea the second leading cause of death among children under the age of five, according to UNICEF.
OHF’s goal is to provide clean and safe drinking water to the communities they serve through the installation of UV Sterilisation Water Systems in primary schools. This allows students to have access to clean water and bring it home to their families.
To support this cause, we will be reintroducing free-flow water in all Creamier cafés with a Clean Water Contribution programme. Customers can enjoy free-flow water for a nominal contribution of 30 cents. 50% of your contribution will be donated to OHF to fund the purchase and installation of a UV Sterilisation Water System, while the remaining 15 cents will cover the cost of the cups and utilities for the free-flow water.
Your contribution will make a positive impact on the communities in rural Cambodia and provide them with a basic necessity that we often take for granted.
